Lutheran Social Services of Illinois is seeking a dedicated on-site staff member in Elgin, Illinois, to support resident services. You will ensure housekeeping and laundry tasks are timely, communicate with residents and staff, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Background check clearance (criminal and Health Care Worker) required.
• Certified in emergency resuscitation required.
• Completion of two-step Tuberculin skin test required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure housekeeping and laundry services as identified in the service plan(s) are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain communication with residents and other staff as appropriate.
• Respond to scheduled or unpredictable needs and emergency calls from residents.
• Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients and staff with dignity and respect.
