Job summary

The Gathering, operated by Preiss, is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment across common areas, vacant apartments, and communal spaces at The Gathering in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, door and window cleaning, inspecting rooms for repairs, stocking supplies, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor to order needed items; cooperation with residents is important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Dust and polish fixtures, surfaces, and furniture.
• Sweep, mop, wax, and/or vacuum floors.
• Remove debris and trash from all office receptacles and property trash cans.
• Wipe down doors and windows.
• Examine rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and make recommendations to management.
• Clean out globes over light fixtures.
• Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies for the week's work.
• Order supplies by notifying Maintenance Supervisor.
• Obtain list of vacant rooms.
• Turn clean, during non-transition time.
• Be respectful of residents living in open bedrooms.
