Under the direct supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor or Manager, the lead attendant will supervise all workers performing semi-skilled and skilled cleaning duties. This position is responsible for sanitation, safety, equipment, and other factors directly or indirectly affecting Environmental Service employees. Responsibilities include training new hires, documentation, and ongoing training. The employee must follow protocols and procedures for infection control and standard precautions. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all interactions with patients, families, visitors, and employees, regardless of cultural background.
