Job Summary :

Under the direct supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor or Manager, the lead attendant will supervise all workers performing semi-skilled and skilled cleaning duties. This position is responsible for sanitation, safety, equipment, and other factors directly or indirectly affecting Environmental Service employees. Responsibilities include training new hires, documentation, and ongoing training. The employee must follow protocols and procedures for infection control and standard precautions. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all interactions with patients, families, visitors, and employees, regardless of cultural background.

Job Description :

1. Perform the same work as those they lead.
2. Assign, monitor, and review task progress to ensure accuracy.
3. Provide instructions for team members to complete tasks efficiently.
4. Lead the day-to-day operations of a team of employees.
5. Provide technical guidance on complex issues.
6. Answer questions, offer insights, and organize team responsibilities.
7. Act as a positive role model for team members.
8. Inform management about team performance.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Credentials, Licenses :
