Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to perform diversified duties within the Environmental Services department. You will coordinate efforts to maintain the hospital in a clean and orderly condition while supporting staff assignments.

Ideal candidates should have previous housekeeping leadership experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and must be fully vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19. A competitive pay package and benefits are offered.

Housekeeper - Lead

Hours: 40 hrs.

Shift: Night shift, 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. with weekend and holiday rotation.

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA.

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Team Leader, Environmental Services or designee. Perform diversified duties both within and in support of the Environmental Services department including but not limited to: assist the Team Leader in the coordination of workers engaged in maintaining the hospital in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition, etc. Assist in preparing daily staff assignments and monitoring and recording of staff competency.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping/leadership experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Position responsibilities require strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of software applications, i.e., Excel, Word, Epic (Bed Tracking Software), and MS Outlook.
• Minimum of one year related experience required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID‑19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying voluntary exemption once hired.

Compensation

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $17.90 – $29.99 per hour.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

Every other weekend and holiday.
