Job summary

Southcoast Health in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Housekeeper I for an evening shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) to support hospital operations and patient care. The role involves cleaning and servicing assigned areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay ranges from USD 16.32 to USD 22.94 per hour, with a 32-hour work week, weekend and holiday rotation, and a comprehensive benefits package. Minimum age 18 and vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 18 is required.
• Ability to clean and service assigned areas according to established methods with minimal supervision.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID-19 virus or approved exemption by signing a statement after hire.

Hours: 32hrs

Shift: Evening shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision and direction of the Team Leader, Environmental Services or Designee, perform various duties to maintain clean, orderly and safe conditions in all assigned rooms/areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 18 is required.
• Ability to clean and service assigned areas according to established methods and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $16.32 - USD $22.94 /Hr.
