Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Housekeeper II at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. The role supports cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining patient care areas during the evening shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm), with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Works under supervision to meet facility standards and safety requirements. The position offers 40 hours weekly, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand written and verbal communications, instructions, and work well as a team player.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Remove all soiled linen and trash from the facility.
• Clean and disinfect floors and bathroom fixtures.
• Clean discharge beds; keep equipment and janitors closets clean.

We are searching for a talented Speech Housekeeper II

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Evening shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation; 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA

Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Facilities or designee, meet set standards while performing functions of the department. Remove all soiled linen and trash from the facility. Clean and disinfect floors and bathroom fixtures. Clean discharge beds. Keep equipment and janitors closets clean.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand written and verbal communications, instructions, and work well as a team player.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $16.96 - USD $22.82 /Hr.
