Job summary

Coreworks is hiring immediately for full-time HOUSEKEEPER / LAUNDRY positions at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron, SD 57350. Schedule is 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday with one weekend a month.

No experience is necessary, we will train for the position. This role combines EVS Housekeeper and Laundry duties, including making beds, cleaning rooms and halls, distributing and replenishing linens, and transporting supplies.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training provided.
• Combination of EVS Housekeeper and Laundry responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Sorts, washes and dries linens following approved laundry procedures.
• Folds, counts and stacks linens following approved laundry procedures.
• Collects soiled linens along with redistributing clean linens.
• Transports supplies including clean and soiled linen to storage and collection areas.
• Provides quality customer service to customers with attention to detail.
• Inspects linens for wear and tear and handles damaged linens per SOP.
• Maintains laundry rooms in a clean, orderly, sanitary condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, one weekend a month. 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: No experience necessary, we will train for the position! This role is a combination of EVS Housekeeper & Laundry Service responsibilities; Associates will perform light cleaning duties such as making beds, cleaning, distributing and replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, mopping and vacuuming.

Job Summary

Summary: Perform laundry services including cleaning and distributing linens to clients. Also contributing to team efforts and professionally interacting with clients, customers, and team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Properly sorts, washes and dries linens following the approved laundry procedures.
• Folds, counts and stacks linens following approved laundry procedures.
• Collects soiled linens along with redistributing clean linens.
• Transports supplies to include clean and soiled linen to the appropriate storage and collection areas.
• Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one on one attention to the detail.
• Routinely inspects linens for wear and tear, identifying worn and torn linens and following Standard Operating Procedure for damaged linens.
• Maintains the commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
