Job summary

Coreworks, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician in Huron, SD. The role offers a full-time schedule Sunday through Thursday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, with a $500 sign-on/retention bonus. No experience required; training provided.

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with full benefits for eligible full-time staff. Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment at the Huron Regional Medical Center

Qualifications

• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Previous floor care experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance and apply stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing techniques.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large-area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Carry out maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Coreworks is hiring immediately for a full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.

• Location : Huron Regional Medical Center - 172 4Th Street Southeast, Huron, SD 57350.

• Schedule : Full time schedule. Sunday - Thursday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Further details upon interview.

• Requirement : No experience necessary. We will train for the position!

• Perks: $500 SIGN-ON & RETENTION BONUS! $ 250 after 90 days in good standing, and another $250 after 180 days in good standing; totaling $500!

• Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing

• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment

• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface

• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.

• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types

• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred

• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required

• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures

• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
