Job summary

Eventide-Fargo is seeking a PRN Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to join our resident services team. The role covers cleaning resident rooms and common areas, doing laundry, and supporting a safe, comfortable environment for residents, families, and staff.

Shifts run 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with varying weekdays, weekends and a holiday rotation. The ideal candidate is at least 16 years old and for some positions prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, baths, and common areas.
• Perform cleaning such as mopping, vacuuming, washing windows.
• Keep work areas and carts safe and secure.

• Follow safety rules when using equipment and chemicals.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Restock carts, dispensers, and paper products.
• Keep equipment clean and locked when not in use.

Housekeeper/Laundry Aide

Eventide-Fargo is currently looking for a PRN Housekeeper/Laundry Aide. The hours are 7:00a - 3:30p and could include various weekdays and weekends and a holiday rotation.

The Housekeeper performs housekeeping duties and ensures a safe and clean environment for the residents, families, and staff by following accepted policies and procedures as outlined by Eventide.

Ideal Candidate

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred, but not required

Essential Job Functions

• Clean resident rooms, baths, common resident areas, staff work areas and other common areas used by staff and visitors.
• Perform cleaning procedures such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and walls, polishing and scrubbing.
• Ensure that all work areas and carts are kept safe and secure.
• Familiar with all infection control and department and facility policies and procedures that directly affect the duties of housekeeping.
• Follow all safety rules when using equipment and chemicals and reports unsafe work areas to a supervisor.
• Maintains a positive relationship with residents, families, and staff.
• Re-stock housekeeping carts, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet tissue.
• Keep all equipment clean, locked as indicated, and in a safe manner, as work dictates.
