The Gardens at York Terrace in Pottsville, PA is seeking a dependable Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility. This full-time role involves cleaning, laundry tasks, and organizing duties to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for residents.

Responsibilities include following housekeeping procedures, handling resident linens, and coordinating laundry to ensure items are clean and ready for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow established housekeeping procedures.
• Perform routine cleaning and organizing duties throughout the facility.
• Place soiled facility and resident personal linens into washing machines.
• Fold, hang, and organize resident personal clothing and linens.
• Transport and distribute resident personal laundry to residents’ rooms.
• Hang clothing in closets and place clothing in drawers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
