Job summary

The Gardens at York Terrace in Pottsville, PA, is seeking a Laundry Assistant for a part-time evening role (approximately 15 hours per week). This position requires working every other weekend and some holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Place soiled facility and resident personal linen into washing machines
• Fold, hang, transport, and distribute resident personal laundry to resident rooms
• Hang clothing in closets and place clothing in drawers as needed
• Sort, wash, dry, and organize laundry according to facility procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Follow infection control, safety, and laundry handling procedures
• Assist with linen inventory and distribution throughout the facility
