Job summary

Eden Senior Care is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide for Edenbrook Sheboygan, a 5‑Star skilled nursing facility in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The role supports a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The shift runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with every other weekend and holiday.

The pay is $17.00 per hour, with benefits and a supportive team culture. Prior healthcare experience is preferred; candidates should be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift items as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift or move heavy items such as laundry bags, linen carts, or cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and other areas of the facility.
• Perform laundry duties including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and resident clothing.
• Safely mix, use, and store cleaning solutions per safety guidelines.
• Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers per facility protocols.
• Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and applicable federal/state laws.

As a Housekeeper at Edenbrook Sheboygan you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Your attention to detail and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of those in our care.

Position: Housekeeper/ Laundry Aide

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday), every other weekend and every other holiday

Pay: $17.00/ HR

Essential Functions

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and other areas of the facility.
• Perform laundry duties, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and resident clothing in accordance with facility standards.
• Safely mix, use, and store cleaning solutions according to safety guidelines.
• Properly label and remove infectious waste bags and containers, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
• Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Conduct all job responsibilities in accordance with the standards outlined in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Preferably has experience in a healthcare facility.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
