Job summary

Eden Senior Care Appleton is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper (Full Time) to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents in daytime hours, including alternating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, hallways, dining areas, and bathrooms; safely handling cleaning solutions; and following all safety and compliance standards. Strong communication and infection control basics are essential to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing ability appropriate for the role.
• Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Understanding of basic infection control and safety practices.
• Patient, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing.

Responsibilities

• Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Edenbrook Appleton, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is a skilled nursing facility seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our wonderful team!

Position: Housekeeper (Full Time)

Schedule: Daytime hours, including every other weekend and every other holiday.

Essential Functions:

• Cleans and sanitizes resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other areas of the facility.
• Safely mixes and uses cleaning solutions and stores in a secure area.
• Labels and removes infectious waste bags and containers.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the role
