Job summary

The Carriages of Bloomington is seeking passionate housekeepers to maintain our beautiful building and resident apartments in a caring, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning residential spaces, doing laundry, and keeping common areas spotless, with duties that support our memory care and assisted living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong desire to help elderly residents.
• Reliable transportation.
• Background check and TB testing required.

Responsibilities

• Laundry and linens weekly or as needed.

The Carriages of Bloomington is growing our TEAM and we are looking for people who have a passion for serving older adults. We seek hard-working, dedicated housekeepers to maintain our beautiful building and resident apartments. We pride ourselves on having a great TEAM to work alongside and with amazing residents, who are appreciative of the detail we show in maintaining a clean and safe assisted living community with a family-like atmosphere. Our environmental services TEAM is led by a dedicated manager who invests time in front-line staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean residential apartments including changing beds, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, windows, bathrooms and kitchenettes.
• Laundry and linens weekly, or as needed.
• Cleaning commons areas including bathrooms, social spaces, wellness area, entryways and exits.
• Assists Maintenance staff with duties such as room turnovers, carpet cleaning, and utilizing the floor scrubber.
• Maintain proper sanitation protocol for healthcare setting.
• Work in assisted living and memory care settings required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
• A love for cleaning
• Reliable transportation
• This job requires a high school diploma
• At least 1 year of experience
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
