Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Montgomery is hiring for a part-time cleaning role responsible for maintaining the men’s locker room and assigned areas. • Wet-mop and dust, remove trash, wash windows, vacuum, wax floors, and check for maintenance problems.
• Replace soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
• Operate related motorized and non‑motorized equipment.
• Record and report all needed repairs; repair as directed.

Physical Demands

Regular standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; smelling; occasional sitting; climbing or balancing; lifting/moving up to 25 pounds. Vision: color, close, distance, peripheral, depth perception.

Work Environment

Exposure to wet/humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level usually moderate.
