Job summary

The Skyview Condo Association Inc. in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas within the condominium community. You will help ensure a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Key duties include cleaning, sanitizing, restocking, reporting issues, and assisting with events. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors with varying weather. Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs.
• Basic communication skills in English (bilingual is a plus).
• Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• May require occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays based on community needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize interior and exterior common areas, including lobbies, fountains, hallways, elevators, clubhouses, fitness centers, restrooms, pool areas, stairs, landings, access area, security cameras and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other fixtures.
• Maintain outdoor common areas by removing litter and keeping walkways, entrances, and recreational areas clean.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, vandalism, or damage to management promptly.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up community events, as requested.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
