Job summary

The Skyview Condo Association Inc. in Clearwater, FL is seeking a reliable Housekeeper/Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across all condominium common areas. The role focuses on indoor and outdoor spaces, restroom upkeep, and event support to keep residents and guests comfortable.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, restocking supplies, reporting issues, and operating cleaning equipment safely. The position is full-time, on-site with a schedule from 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs).
• Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• May require evenings, weekends, or holidays based on community needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize interior and exterior common areas, including lobbies, fountains, hallways, elevators, clubhouses, fitness centers, restrooms, pool areas, stairs, landings, access area, security cameras and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other fixtures.
• Maintain outdoor common areas by removing litter and keeping walkways, entrances, and recreational areas clean.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, vandalism, or damage to management promptly.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up community events, as requested.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
