Target Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeper II to perform housekeeping duties across guest rooms and common areas. You will handle laundry, maintain room counts, and ensure supplies are stocked while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

In this role you will work a structured rotation, participate in safety trainings, and contribute to high-quality guest experiences in remote environments. Must be able to lift and move loads, and travel as needed.

Formación

• 2+ years housekeeping experience, preferably in a remote camp or hotel/hospitality setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to work within a team, with or without supervision.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel and work long rotations away from home.
• Must pass background check and urinalysis.
• Provide your own transportation to the facility.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safety culture and follow SOPs, JSAs, and company policies.
• Wash, dry, and fold linens including sheets, towels, and blankets.
• Inspect linens for stains and report damages to Head Housekeeper.
• Make beds and clean rooms daily (dust, vacuum, mop, clean washrooms).
• Maintain accurate room counts and follow assignments.
• Sanitize washrooms and replenish guest room supplies.
• Keep housekeeping carts stocked with PPE and supplies.
• Adhere to chemical handling and storage in line with HSE program.
• Restock housekeeping areas and assist with laundry duties.
• Provide world-class customer service to guests.

Job Title: Housekeeper II
Reports to: Head Housekeeper
Level: Hourly
Scope: Responsible for completing all assigned housekeeping duties to Target Hospitality standards, including laundry operations and accurate room count reporting, ensuring guest rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and well stocked throughout each rotation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accountable and responsible for maintaining a safety culture, following all SOPs, JSAs, and policies and procedures as set out by Target Hospitality.
• Wash, dry, and fold linens, including but not limited to sheets, towels, blankets, and comforters.
• Inspect linens for stains and damages, setting these aside and reporting them to the Head Housekeeper.
• Make beds and clean all aspects of rooms daily. Cleaning tasks include, but are not limited to, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping, and cleaning washrooms, closets, windows, and mirrors.
• Maintain a correct count of all rooms cleaned in the dorm or on the floor, following the assignments given by the Head Housekeeper.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, including but not limited to sinks, toilets, showers, and floors.
• Replenish items in guest rooms, such as facial tissue, toilet paper, and body wash.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized housekeeping cart equipped with the necessary PPE.
• Ensure all chemicals are dispensed, used, and stored in compliance with the Target Hospitality HSE program, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in restocking and maintaining the cleanliness of housekeeping areas, including housekeeping rooms and laundry.
• Exceed our guests’ needs by providing world-class customer service.
• Attend all safety meetings and participate in Target Hospitality emergency response procedures.
• Additional duties may be assigned by a supervisor or manager.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Stand for long periods of time, up to 12 hours or more, with scheduled breaks.
• Short- and long-distance walking required.
• Use of stairs and step stools.
• Use force when pushing and pulling carts that weigh on average 50 lbs.
• Must be able to crouch, bend neck, back, and torso from waist to floor, and must be able to twist from left to right and right to left.
• Frequently lift an average weight of 25 lbs with a maximum of 50 lbs. Where weights may exceed 50 lbs, the assistance of another person or a lifting aid is mandatory.
• Frequently reach below waist, waist to shoulder, and above shoulder, with frequent neck, back, and torso twisting from left to right without restriction.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, high-stress environment.
• Perform repetitive movements at the wrist, including side to side and up or down, and multiple grasps of an average of 10 lbs with a maximum of 25 lbs.
• Occasional manual dexterity requirements, including the ability to type and use a 10-key.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to hear and understand verbal instruction as well as other sounds such as safety alarms and signals.
• Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes, and able to read small text such as product warning labels.
• Exposure to extreme hot and cold environments.
• Chemical exposure.
• Ability to work within a rotational schedule of 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off, or as per manager’s discretion and business needs.
• Ability to work safely and navigate within small, close quarters and congested areas.
• Occasional exposure to elevated noise and surroundings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years housekeeping experience, preferably in a remote camp or the hotel/hospitality industry, or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, in English.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with or without supervision.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel and work long rotations away from home.
• Must be able to pass a background check and urinalysis.
• Must provide your own transportation to and from the facility.
