Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper II for Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. The role includes evening shifts from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include removing soiled linen and trash, cleaning and disinfecting floors and bathroom fixtures, and maintaining clean equipment and janitorial spaces. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred and vaccination against flu and COVID-19 is required or an

• Must understand written and verbal communications and follow instructions.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.

• Under supervision, meet department standards and perform duties.
• Remove all soiled linen and trash from the facility.
• Clean and disinfect floors and bathroom fixtures; clean discharge beds.
• Keep equipment and janitors closets clean.

Hours: 40hrs

Shift:Evening shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation; 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Facilities or designee, meet set standards while performing functions of the department. Remove all soiled linen and trash from the facility. Clean and disinfect floors and bathroom fixtures. Clean discharge beds. Keep equipment and janitors closets clean.

• Must be able to understand written and verbal communications, instructions, and work well as a team player.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
