Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Housekeeper II at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. The role offers a 40-hour evening schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Pay ranges from the stated rate, with benefits including time off and retirement plans.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining clean facilities while following safety and hygiene standards. Vaccination is required unless exempt by policy.

Qualifications

• Must understand written and verbal communications, instructions, and work well as a team player.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or be exempt with a signed statement.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Manager, Facilities or designee, meet standards while performing department functions.
• Remove all soiled linen and trash from the facility.
• Clean and disinfect floors and bathroom fixtures.
• Clean discharge beds.
• Keep equipment and janitors closets clean.

We are searching for a talented Housekeeper II

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Evening shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation; 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA

USD $16.96 - USD $22.82 /Hr.
