Job summary

The Shores, a UMC community, in Ocean City, NJ, is seeking a Housekeeper II to join our full-time team. You will perform floor care and cleaning in resident apartments and common areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, be 18+, and bring prior experience in care settings, janitorial work, or customer service. English literacy is required and benefits are provided to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in long-term care, janitorial, or customer service preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care and routine cleaning throughout resident apartments and common areas.
• Empty waste and soiled linen receptacles and maintain hygiene standards.
• Stock and restock restroom supplies and keep areas tidy.
• Move and arrange furniture and assist with room setups for programs.
• Assist in unloading delivery trucks as needed.
• Follow sanitation methods and use cleaning products safely.
• Operate housekeeping equipment such as scrubbers, burnishers, extractors and perform advanced floor care.

• Clean, restock, and maintain restroom supplies

• Assist in unloading delivery trucks as needed
• Follow proper sanitation methods and safely usecleaning products to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent infection
