Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Housekeeper I for St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This per diem evening shift position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Under general supervision, you will maintain cleanliness of assigned areas, meet infection control standards, and support a culture of wellbeing. Minimum age 18, high school diploma preferred, vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 18 is required.
• Ability to clean and service assigned areas according to established methods and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Team Leader or Designee, perform cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain safe, orderly environments in all assigned rooms/areas.

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Evening shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA
