Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Housekeeper II for St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This per diem position offers an evening shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation, providing essential cleaning and safe, welcoming patient environments.

As a member of Environmental Services, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and contribute to an inclusive workplace that supports community health across Southeast Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 18 is required.
• Duties require good interpersonal skills.
• A minimum of three months related work experience required.

• Under the general supervision and direction of the Team Leader, Environmental Services or Designee, perform various duties to maintain clean, orderly and safe conditions in all assigned rooms/areas.

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: evening shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.
