Southcoast Health is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to support the main kitchen at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. The role includes setting up stations, breaking them down, cleaning and sanitizing, stocking floor stock, dating and labeling foods, and ensuring portion accuracy.
Day shift with every other weekend and rotating holidays, 6:30am–3:00pm. Regular status employees working a minimum of 24 hours are eligible for an extensive benefits package, with vaccination

Position reports to the Manager Culinary or Operations Manager, Food & Nutrition Services or designee. Provide support for the main kitchen of the Food & Nutrition Department including set up all stations and perform positions, break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized. Perform floor stock procedures. Clean and sanitize equipment, and food surfaces according to procedures. Assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale. Use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions. Performs other reasonable duties as assigned
