Job summary

Hyatt Place Sarasota, managed by Lodgco Hospitality, seeks a dedicated housekeeper to maintain guest room cleanliness and sanitation to established standards. You will follow procedures, ensure checkout and turnover efficiency, stock supplies, and keep carts and storage areas orderly.

Ideal candidates have basic housekeeping experience, reliability, and a commitment to high-quality service while adhering to safety and security protocols set by Lodgco Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Satisfactory criminal background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain room assignments from supervisor
• Clean rooms according to established procedures
• Know correct procedure for entering a guest room
• Check room for damaged furniture and equipment
• Restock your cart at the end of each shift and return cart to storage area
• Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and storage areas
• Report all deficiencies and problems in guest rooms to the Maintenance Engineer daily
• Be alert to all possible hazards and practice safety at all times
• Adhere to Lost and Found procedures
• Provide the highest quality of service to the guests
• Follow all safety procedures and policies for all guests and employees
• Report any unusual occurrences or requests to a supervisor immediately
• Adhere to proper key control procedures
• Attend and participate in staff meetings

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including weekends.
