Department: Health Care Center - Skilled Nursing

Status: Full Time Days (8 am - 4 pm)

The Housekeeper supports our mission and values by maintaining a clean environment for residents and staff. Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, halls, offices, and other assigned areas.

The Housekeeper's Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Cleans resident rooms, break room, nurse's stations, halls, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Performs daily tasks in accordance with infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures.
• Respects confidentiality and resident's rights.
• Follows dress code according to department policies.
• Respects and shows kindness to all residents.
• Assure that floors are free of hazardous debris.
• Practice good body mechanics in regards to lifting.
• Protect and maintain all work areas in accordance with facility safety policies.
• Perform tasks such as wash over-the-bed lights, pictures and objects on walls, wall washing, baseboards, etc. as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
