Job summary

Hampton Inn Mount Pleasant, managed by Lodgco Hospitality, seeks a diligent Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and public areas, meeting established quality standards.

You will receive room assignments, clean according to procedures, restock supplies, report deficiencies, follow safety rules, manage key control, and participate in staff meetings. Satisfactory background screening required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive room assignments from supervisor
• Clean rooms according to established procedures
• Enter guest rooms following proper procedures
• Check rooms for damaged furniture and equipment
• Restock your cart at the end of each shift and return cart to storage area
• Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and storage areas
• Report deficiencies and problems in guest rooms to maintenance daily
• Be alert to hazards and practice safety at all times
• Adhere to Lost and Found procedures
• Provide the highest quality of service to guests
• Follow safety procedures for all guests and employees
• Report unusual occurrences or requests to a supervisor
• Adhere to proper key control procedures
• Attend and participate in staff meetings

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel and maintaining established quality standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Obtain room assignments from supervisor
• Clean rooms according to established procedures
• Know correct procedure for entering a guest room
• Check room for damaged furniture and equipment
• Restock your cart at the end of each shift and return cart to storage area
• Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and storage areas
• Report all deficiencies and problems in guest rooms to the Maintenance Engineer daily
• Be alert to all possible hazards and practice safety at all times
• Adhere to Lost and Found procedures
• Provide the highest quality of service to the guests
• Follow all safety procedures and policies for all guests and employees
• Report any unusual occurrences or requests to a supervisor immediately
• Adhere to proper key control procedures
• Attend and participate in staff meetings

This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including weekends.
