The Staybridge Suites Quincy and Holiday Inn Express Quincy are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Quincy, MA. This full-time seasonal role focuses on cleaning guest rooms and public spaces with strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional guest service.

You will collaborate with a team, maintain clean workspaces, and support guests with special needs while complying with standards. Evening/weekend shifts and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Standing for long periods (90% of time).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push similar weight.
• Able to work independently with reliability.
• Must be friendly, cheerful and courteous at all times.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency required.
• Full-time 40-hour shift, morning, weekends and holidays; flexible.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and public spaces to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, restock supplies, vacuum, dust.
• Report guest property left behind and property damage.
• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean and organized.
• Coordinate with other staff to meet guest needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

We are seeking a hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn Express . This is a Full Time - Seasonal position located in Quincy, MA . As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and hotel public spaces, have a strong attention to detail, and provide exceptional customer service.

Work Performed

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the entire hotel to create a memorable and unique experience for our guests.

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing bed linens, restocking room supplies, vacuuming, and dusting
• Report and return any guest properties that were left behind
• Report cases of property damage to supervisor
• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
• Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest needs
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
• Continuous standing 90% of time
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. limited
• Pushing up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work independently
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Hours required: Full Time 40 hour shift Morning (AM);Weekends/ Holidays;Must be flexible

Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities

• Previous customer facing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Second language is a plus
