Position Summary

This position is responsible for the proper cleaning and sanitizing of all areas within the Mobile Convention Center pre and post event, as well as maintaining standards during events.

This role pays an hourly rate of $14.50-$15.50.

Responsibilities

1. Perform custodial tasks for the proper upkeep/maintenance of facilities, including interior and exterior areas.
2. Assist as needed and follow all rules of conduct and safety.
3. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Knowledge of general housekeeping procedures in a commercial facility preferred.
2. Exposure to housekeeping procedures and operation of cleaning machines preferred.
3. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and respond well to direction.
4. Ability to operate two-way radio equipment.
5. Activities occur both inside and outside, with some exposure to adverse weather conditions.
6. Flexible working hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
7. Physical ability to perform duties, including operating cleaning equipment and working with chemicals.
8. Ability to work with electrical equipment and be on feet for extended periods.
9. Travel may be required.
