We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Housekeeper positions at Franklin Memorial Hospital, located at 390 S Main Street, VA 23851. Online applications are accepted only.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
2. Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
3. Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
4. Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
5. Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
6. Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
7. Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
8. Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
9. Wipes down glass surfaces.
10. Makes beds and changes linens as required.
11. Realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
12. Responds to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
13. Addresses spills and broken items promptly.
14. Contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
