We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions at Franklin Memorial Hospital, located at 390 S Main Street, VA 23851. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and order in hospitals, hotels, and restaurants. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, vacuuming, and responding to guest requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and sanitize trash containers.
• Dispose of trash hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping issues.
• Contribute to team efforts and maintain professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
