We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, located at 6071 West Outer Drive, Detroit, MI 48235. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts available, including Sundays through Saturdays, with rotating weekends and holidays. Hours may vary; more details will be provided during the interview.

Requirement: Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Pay Rate: $18.10 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as needed.
• Realigns furniture and amenities per layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping requests, including spills and broken items.
• Contributes to team efforts; maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
