• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions.
• Address: Henry Ford Madison Heights Hospital - 27351 Dequindre, Madison Heights, MI 48071. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; days may vary. Two shifts available: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.20 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities per layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests, such as spills or broken items.
• Contribute to team efforts; maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
