Location: Brookwood Baptist Health - 2010 Brookwood Medical Center Drive, Birmingham, AL 35209. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants, ensuring a clean and orderly environment. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities per layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
• Address spills and broken glasses promptly.
• Contribute to team efforts with professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
