We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions.

Location: Phoebe Sumter Medical Center - 126 Highway 280 West, Americus, GA 31719. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time; shifts vary from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, or 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary: Perform light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hospitals, hotels, and restaurants, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties:

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Arrange furniture and amenities per layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests, such as spills and broken glass.
• Contribute to team efforts and maintain professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
