Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center - 6915 Village Medical Circle, Clemmons, NC 27012. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; days may vary. Second shift, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Rotating weekends and holidays required. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hospitals, hotels, and restaurants. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, vacuuming, and other related tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
• Address spills and broken items promptly.
• Contribute to team efforts and maintain professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
