Job summary

Fairmont of Westlake in Westlake, OH, seeks a Housekeeping staff member to perform daily housekeeping tasks under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents in a Montessori-Inspired Living community.

Ideal candidates will be 16+, possess basic reading/writing ability, speak English, and demonstrate a positive attitude toward the elderly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completion of elementary education or ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Follow facility policies and standards to ensure high quality care and safety for residents.

General Purpose

To perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, facility policies, and as may be directed the Housekeeping Supervisor, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.
