Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Barnwell is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team in a full-time role. Shifts run 6am-2pm with every other weekend, offering a pay rate of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour and same-day pay options.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, while following health and safety standards and collaborating with the Director of Housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Previous floor tech experience, including stripping and waxing, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping functions, including cleaning, washing, polishing, sanitizing, deodorizing, and disinfecting all areas of the facility and residents' rooms.
• Use proper cleaning solutions and techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean, in working order, and properly maintained at all times.
• Remove trash and soiled linens, ensuring proper disposal.
• Clean residents' personal equipment, such as wheelchairs, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide respectful, dignified care to all residents.
• Follow all established health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Work under the guidance of the Director of Housekeeping to complete daily tasks and maintain cleanliness standards.
