Job Description: Housekeeper at Crothall Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Housekeeper position at Crothall Healthcare.

Location: HSHS St John's Hospital - 800 East Carpenter Street, Springfield, IL 62701 (Online applications accepted only)

Schedule: Full-time; hours and days may vary; rotating weekends. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: No experience necessary. Duties include bending, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Perks: Shift differentials: $1.50 for 2nd shift, $2.00 for 3rd shift, and $1.00 for weekend shifts, added to base pay. On-site parking available.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Perform light cleaning duties to maintain hospitals, hotels, and restaurants in a clean and orderly manner, including making beds, cleaning rooms, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures, empty trash, and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and respond to guest requests and spills.
• Contribute to team efforts with professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
