We are hiring immediately for a full-time HOUSEKEEPER position at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, located at 1215 East Court Street, Seguin, TX 78155. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, rotating weekends and holidays, from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am. More details will be provided upon interview.

Requirement: Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as required.
• Realigns furniture and amenities as per layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping requests, including spills and broken items.
• Contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
