Job summary

Xanitos is hiring for full-time Ambulatory Housekeepers in San Jose, CA to maintain clean and safe ambulatory facilities at client sites.

Work hours are 1:00pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday, with reliable transportation required. Competitive hourly pay and listed benefits apply. Duties include cleaning rooms, restrooms, corridors and fixtures with emphasis on quality and safety.

No prior healthcare cleaning experience is required, and training is provided to new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial services or healthcare cleaning preferred.
• Post-offer background screening and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other areas.
• Sweeps and vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork.
• Washes windows, doors, panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to all client locations.

Job Overview:

Keeps premises of ambulatory facilities in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
