About the Job:

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for clients by performing cleaning duties in assigned areas. The role includes ensuring proper disposal of waste and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and bathroom sanitation.
2. Clean facility rooms, offices, laboratories, and hallways using appropriate equipment.
3. Wash bed frames, change linens, and remake beds as needed.
4. Keep utility and storage areas organized.
5. Operate laundry machines and launder linens as directed.
6. Follow infection control standards and transport soiled linens safely.
7. Clean floors, rugs, carpets, and upholstery, paying attention to safety.
8. Disinfect rooms and equipment using germicides.
9. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and linens daily.
10. Store equipment properly after use.
11. Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective measures.
12. Prepare rooms for meetings and facility events.
13. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
14. Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or similar environment preferred.
15. Basic communication skills in English required.
16. CPR and de-escalation training may be required (training provided).
