Job summary

The Glebe - LifeSpire in Virginia is seeking a full-time Housekeeper. Schedule is 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday, with every-other weekend required. You will help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming resident living spaces across the community.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions.
• Possess a good sense of responsibility and ability to work with a team independently.
• Ability to multi-task and work well with others.
• Ability to use a computer.
• May be required to drive a car or golf cart; valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and cleans resident living spaces, nurses’ stations, common areas, lounges, break rooms, and offices.
• Maintains supplies of cleaning equipment and materials.
• Maintains logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Complies with infection control, hazardous waste removal, and safety policies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Visually inspects and cleans, according to established procedures, resident living spaces,nurses’ stations, resident and team member common areas, lounges and break rooms,utility, treatment, therapy and workrooms and offices, corridors, elevators, stairways, and entrances.
• Maintains supplies of cleaning equipment and materials
• Maintains appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion
• Complies with, and assists with, infection control, hazardous waste removal, and other safety precautions, guidelines and policies
