Lakewood Retirement Community-LifeSpire in Richmond, VA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. This full-time role runs 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM and emphasizes teamwork and compassionate service.

You will perform routine cleaning, restock supplies, and monitor equipment while following infection control guidelines. A patient, pleasant demeanor with residents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Able to work rotating weekends.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks and maintain workflow.
• Pleasant personality and patience when interacting with residents, guests, and team members.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Participates in on-going visual evaluation of the cleanliness of the facility and addresses any needed areas.
• Maintains an ample supply of cleaning materials and necessary equipment in a neat and readily accessible manner
• Checks equipment daily for proper functioning; reports all malfunctions or damage according to department policy
• Maintains appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion
• Complies with infection control, hazardous waste removal, safety and all other company regulations, guidelines, and policies
