Job description

We are hiring immediately for full-time HOUSEKEEPER positions.

Location: Ballad Health Holston Valley Medical Center - 130 West Ravine Road, Kingsport, TN 37660. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Days may vary. 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: No prior experience required.

Pay Rate: $14.25 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash hygienically.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipes down glass surfaces.
• Makes beds and changes linens as required.
• Realigns furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and requests.
• Handles housekeeping issues like spills and broken glasses.
• Contributes to team efforts; maintains professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
