We are hiring immediately for full-time HOUSEKEEPER positions at Ingalls Memorial Hospital, Harvey, IL. Online applications only.

Schedule: Full-time, with days and hours varying; rotating weekends and holidays. More details to be provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Rate: $15.45 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain hospitals, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as needed.
• Realign furniture and amenities per layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping issues.
• Contribute to team efforts; exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
