Job summary

Cypress Cove is seeking a Full-Time housekeeper in Fort Myers, FL to maintain a clean, healthy environment across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing areas.

Shifts are Friday to Monday, 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm, at $16 per hour with alternating holidays. The Environmental Services team values compassion and service to residents and emphasizes teamwork and quality in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living helpful but not required.
• Kindness and a cheerful disposition to provide the best level of service to our residents.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment by cleaning resident apartments/rooms across multiple living areas, common areas, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and related spaces.
• Remove waste/trash in all areas.
• Provide support for cleanup of leaks, spills, etc.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment by cleaning:
  • Resident apartments/rooms within our Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing areas
  • Common area corridors
  • Rest rooms
  • Offices
  • Break rooms
  • Utility areas
  • Storage areas
  • Courtyards
  • Recreation and exercise areas
  • Laundry area duties may be included occasionally
• Removing any waste/trash in all areas.
• Providing support for cleanup of leaks, spills, etc.
