TerraBella Senior Living operates over 30 communities across the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee, offering a spectrum of senior living options including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care, with over 2200 units.

Position: Housekeeper at TerraBella Little Avenue

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas including apartments, common areas, lounges, and offices according to schedule.
• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and spot clean floors, rugs, and carpets.
• Sanitize and polish bathroom fixtures and facilities, and restock dispensers as needed.
• Scrub tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a clean and organized manner.
• Collect and dispose of trash, handle laundry, and ensure laundry facilities are clean and sanitary.
• Store cleaning chemicals safely and keep cords, carts, and equipment out of hazards and compliant with fire codes.
• Report repairs and supply needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills in the primary language of residents.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Interest in working with seniors.
• Courteous and friendly interaction with residents, guests, and staff.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, handle, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities including close and color vision.
