Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for a full-time HOUSEKEEPER position.
• Location: Matthews Medical Center - 1500 Matthews Township Parkway, Matthews, NC 28105. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Days may vary, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior housekeeping experience is required.
• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures, empty trash, and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Change linens and make beds.
• Respond to guest requests and housekeeping issues.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
