Silver Birch of Fort Wayne South is seeking a Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services Team to keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents. You play a vital role in helping residents feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is helpful.
• Housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work.
• Friendly, respectful, and able to work independently or with others.
• Willingness to work some weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways and resident rooms.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks each shift.
• Respect resident privacy, knocking before entering rooms.
• Use cleaning supplies safely and follow procedures for chemicals.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish to keep spaces neat and sanitary.
• Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and light fixtures.
• Change bed linens and make beds as needed.
• Collect and deliver resident laundry promptly.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Restock and organize cleaning supplies at end of shift.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For
